sophomores rushing

I heard that not all sororities want sophomores but I don't know how true that is. If I were to rush as a sophomore would I have a good chance at getting a house that I like? Or do most houses only want freshman?

Most houses usually only want freshmen.

If you're rushing as a sophomore, your realistic chances are the lower tier houses who might overlook your sophomore status.

If houses don't want sophomore why not cut at the 16. Why make us go al the way to the 3 pref round ?

It's not impossible to get a bid as a sophomore but much more unlikely. There are girls who make it, if they can show their values and personality fits the chapter and that they can bring something to it. Decent grades and accomplishments go a long way when you've been on campus for a longer time.

Why do houses frown upon a sophomore? The girls should be a better fit as they have grown from IU experience
