dropped-how does informal work?
by: InformalI dropped rush. How does informal recruitment work? In previous years, what houses have done it? Around how many do it every year?

Dphie, ASA, and TPA have had informal at least once, although TPA stopped doing it and ASA usually only does fall, dphie usually does it every semester, they have events planned for after rush this semester in case they have room for some more girls, check out these chapters twitters/instagrams to find out their informal plans as rush wraps up

You dropped yourself from recruitment? Aka you had houses left and you thought you were too good for them and wanted to throw away your chance at sisterhood?
Well good luck with that, if you dropped out then you're probably going to stay unaffiliated with Greek Life. All the houses here are great, and you wasted your chances.
If you were dropped, I am sorry and recommend you follow the advice above.

Additionally, if you have friends in houses that are doing informal recruitment (most likely DPhiE and ASA), I recommend getting closer with them and hopefully you can meet some of their sisters that way. The more sisters you can get to like you, the better your chances are during informal (or next formal if you are a freshman) recruitment.
As always, keep your GPA high, get involved in activities and leadership positions, and make sure that you present yourself well (look put together).
I was dropped during recruitment my freshman year, but found my home during informal recruitment, so it is possible.
