todays lists 9 party
by: nervousfrom past rushes do you find that if you got 16 houses back do you usually get 9 back ? What are the sororities looking at from 16-9 do you have a good chance to get 9. Im so nervous I really liked my top 9 alot and would be happy in any house.

Last year during recruitment I had a full list of 16 houses during 16 party. When my list came back for 9 I thought there has to be some possibility that I would get at least 4 of the houses I put in my top 9 back. I only ended up getting one of those houses back and all of my bottom 7 pushed up. If this happens to you don't get discouraged the biggest cuts in my opinion are during this round and clearly you just weren't meant to be in any of those other chapters. I ended up being lucky and getting a bid and joining the only house I had in my top 9, but if you don't get any of them back or even for 3 party give the houses a chance. I know it's been plastered all over this website but you would be lucky to be in any house on this campus and being in the Greek community regardless of chapter is an honor.

you could have gotten 3 back after 23 party and had the same 3 keep you all the way through to pref, and you couldve gotten 16 back and have none invite you back this weekend.
Membership selection is private and different for each sorority. there is no way to tell you what your next round will bring.

Last year this girl that was in my rush group that was really pretty and had good grades got 14 back at 16 and then for 9 she had 2, she ended up being asked back to both through 3 party though and suicided for the housed one, it was strange though bc the only two she had left after 16 were a "top" tier chapter and an unhoused, so keep in mind girls do fall through the cracks bc cuts have to be made, but she was happy with the house she got in the end, I don't think she should've suicided but that's beside the point, you never know how many houses will be on your next list
