how did you know what sorority was for you

by:

Going through rush right now and still having a hard time figuring out where I belong, what personally made you know that your house was for you?? Was it the conversations? Was every single conversation with every girl perfect? We're you confident that the house would always call you back??

For me it came down to looking around the room at 3 party and seeing the other pnms who were there with me. Some of the houses i was looking at the girls were not very welcoming and we're clique-y before the rounds started. At the one i chose all the girls were nice and easy to talk to and it felt much more relaxed being around them

you seem to be under the untrue perception that you have any control in the decision. the sororities are in charge, not the pnm's.

You may not connect with every single girl you talk to in the house. In most chapters, all of the girls are friends but that doesn't mean all of the girls and best friends or the same. So you may relate better to some sisters than to others. That being said, I joined my house because I felt a natural connection with most of the girls I talked to. Conversation felt easy and like I was already friends with them. I liked how the girls treated each other and how genuine they were when they talked about why they joined. For sisterhood round you'll see more of this. Ask the girls rushing you questions. Ask them why they knew it was the one and you'll know how you feel about them based on their answer. I walked into the room and felt happy to be there and I still feel that. You might not have felt it thus far but these next two rounds will give you a chance to. Or you might not! Greek life just might not be for you or you might not be at the point in your life where you should join. Only join a house if you think it's right. If you don't feel that connection you can rush again next year.

Hope that helps and good luck!
