question about pairs

In a previous discussion, someone said that some sororities make you go to every single pair, is this true? As someone involved in other things would I not be allowed to miss any? Also, generally speaking, how often are pairs in any given week? (although I know this would depend on the sorority)

My chapter isn't required to go to any and we have anywhere from 2 to 5 pairs depending on the week. A friend of mine's chapter requires one per month and they have a similar number of pairs.

Usually top tier sororities make you go out a certain number of times per week and lower tier sororities encourage you to be involved in things outside your sorority.
