what's the deal with acacia?

by: Earl

How can Acacia be "bottom tier" by most people's estimation, yet be comprised of brand new members--many of whom were pledges in a better ranked house before Phi Psis went on probation? I know they are in the midst of recolonizing, but their physical house is attractive and they seem to have some legitimately cool guys. Is it because they are a wildcard? Just too new of a house? Just curious...

The reason they're getting good pairs its because its essentially phi psi in acacia's house. Some of the guys introduce themselves as "phi psi acacias." They invite taus over and use that plus phi psi ties as leverage and it works. Probs a huge divide in that house, feel bad for the founding dudes as they were straight taken over. No brotherhood, sketch vibe

I appreciate the feedback. I wonder how they will do during this rush. Seems like a very important one for them.

From what I hear, Acacias are making quite an impression with freshmen. Combination of cool recent actives, nice physical house and good sorority pairings are impressing young guys. Personally, I think freshmen that have the option should pledge more established houses. What's going on out there?

1 good pledge class doesn't define the whole house. All in all, you guys still suck
