dphie and housing
by: hmmmmSo if DPhiE gets the Sammy house, does that automatically move them into a more desirable position than TPA and ASA, since they wouldn't be housed? A lot of crap has been talked on the non-housed chapters, so what happens when that's not an issue anymore?

do you think TPA or ASA would be better suited to get the house instead of DPhiE, because they have a better reputation overall? Seems to me that the whole argument over housed vs. unhoused is always the reason people slam TPA and ASA - DPhiE too for that matter. So if ONE of these groups gets the house, why couldn't they make a move upward?

Interesting perspective. I guess a house can't cure all the ills of this debate. I wonder what DPhiE did that created such a negative reputation, and how they could possibly fix it to take advantage of this situation. I mean, getting a house is a HUGE deal for them, and to not be able to capitalize on it seems sorta sad. I did see their chapter advisor won advisor of the year. What's with that?

I heard dphie had a very low number for the pledge class, so I'm confused how they would be able to afford a house over TPA or ASA? Especially since they have been around longer and seem to have a better reputation, especially TPA who seems to pair with on campus fraternities. SK seems to have a good reputation too but I doubt they would have enough people being so new

The owner of the house doesn't care what the reputation of the organization is. Dphie clearly must've thrown down more dough or given a better value proposition.
