Indiana University Bloomington - IU 5.0 one of the best Greek life’s in the country outside of the SEC. Lots of connections and valuable alumni networks. hazing is pretty common in both frats and srats. good party scene, although the overall community culture is very toxic and divided being in a house with a large group of friends is great. tons of different organizations for whatever your vibe is. Definitely worth checking out.

Indiana University Bloomington - IU 4.8 Probably the best Greek Life in the midwest. Very few universities have a consolidated frat row like ours, or have mega mansions for just about every housed org. IU owes a lot to its greek traditions going all the way back to the 1800s. Honestly, frats/srats are probably one of the major reasons why IU is loved for its traditional college vibe. Being a part of a house is extremely exciting, especially when Little 500 rolls around the corner. The culture is extremely judgmental and toxic. You have to have a good self esteem to survive. Individuals are routinely picked out and harassed, there is a good deal of drama between houses (which occasionally gets violent). Rush can be extremely competitive and the process can leave a lot of people feeling inadequate if they do not get a bid. There is a huge divide between the greeks and geeds, totally different college cultures, and there are a lot of geeds who hate greeks because they didn't get bids. Overall AMAZING greek life. Definitely consider rushing!

Indiana University Bloomington - IU 3.5 Greek life clearly runs the school. Honestly the Greek life shows the worst of the school. The Greek scene here is basically a high school popularity contest.

Indiana University Bloomington - IU 4.8 this is the most toxic greek life school in the whole country fs. there is no sisterhood or brotherhood. hazing is awful and everyone just brings each other down. choose a diff school while you still can unless u want to be surrounded by the fakest people and a high school popularity contest
