sophomore rushing?

I rushed as an upperclassmen this year and it is NOT EASY! Sororities are a business. They want four years of dues (even though most drop out by their junior/senior year-- or so i have heard)
It is NOT impossible, you just need to be very well put together, GOOD GRADES, involvement, be peppy, easy on the eyes.
Some houses won't consider someone who isn't a freshman unless you have strong, strong connections in that house. So go out and make friends with the girls wearing letters in your classes, etc. You will need them to pull for you.

I would highly recommend doing fall recruitment so you see ALL of the houses. You will only see a select few that will participate informal rush. I ended up dropping from recruitment, but if any of the houses I loved during rush will do spring rush, I will give it a try.
If you want to go through Spring COB, then go for it. I can't tell you if you will make it or not, but I will say it won't be easy. Go for it. You have a shot at any house you will connect with.
