1)when is spring rush? Do they have rho gammas and stuff? Do you have stand outside in the cold waiting for the house to be ready?
2) Do a lot of girls do spring rush?
3)When do we find out which houses do spring rush?
4) I did fall recruitment, and ended up dropping because I didn't feel any connection with the houses. WIll that be used that against me? Will the girls know I am rushing again? I only had one house left at the end when I dropped.
Sorry to bombard y'all with questions, I just want to start preparing myself for spring rush.

what is very false? That sigma kappa will spring rush or that Alpha Phi, Gamma Phi Beta, and DG will spring rush? or all the above?

The only houses that do spring recruitment are the houses that are not at campus total... So Aoii and sdt will probably have spring recruitment events and usually gamma phi and pi phi do because a lot of new members end up dropping or a lot of seniors graduate. Spring recruitment is way different than formal recruitment, no rho gammas, you only go to the house you want to try to join, there will be a small number of girls who join with you. And they will know you if you talked to someone in the house so yeah they will know you went through formal but it's not used against you if you dropped but if the houses dropped you then that's for a reason

so lets say if my favorite house cut me during rush. My rho gammas told me when I dropped because I didn't sign any bid card, I can go ahead and do spring rush and it is common...

and also, I don't have to go to ALL of the houses. So let's say I want to see Gamma Phi Beta or Pi Phi, I can just go to both of those?

Yes-
Typically aopi, sdt, pi phi, gphi hold formal COB events. Just because you went through recruitment and dropped does not mean that will be held against you.
Sometimes DG and other houses have been known to take a few women who already have connections to the house. If there is a specific house you are interested in I would reach out to their president and let her know you are interested. Most houses don't participate in Spring COB

How did spring rush work for alpha phi last year and will they have it again this year? Is it by invitation?

For spring recruitment, it's informal so you get to choose what houses you go to. And you can come and go at any time. There's no set times where you have to be there. Typically SDT can't get the numbers during fall. Pi Phi and Gamma Phi are usually open to taking juniors/upperclassmen so they always have higher numbers of girls graduating that need to be replaced.

I really like Gphi and Sigma Kappa during rush. How many round are there? How do I know if I get invited back? Is it just on my labtop again?

It doesn't go by rounds in the Spring. They just have set days where they invite interested girls to their house and you can go for as long as you want/as many days as you want. I would recommend going for more than one day so you get to meet more girls and so they're more familiar with your name. You might then receive a bid after all the days are done. Very very informal. My roommate was from a spring pledge class and I was so jealous of how less brutal it was, but she also didn't get to see as many houses so there was a trade off. I would recommend contacting the recruitment chairs of the houses you're interested so they can write you down and send you the info when the time comes. Good luck!

also, do you have a pretty good chance at getting a bid during spring rush,even if you are not a freshman? Do a lot of girls normally do it? Like it won't be over 1,000 this time right?
