very sad state of affairs - pathetic, in fact

I found this website when doing a search for my MSU chapter. I am praying I wasn't as disgustingly superficial as the majority of people sound on this website. Just the idea of having a website that rates, ranks, and reviews groups of people based on the most superficial criteria is amazing and sad. What is the reason any of you are rushing? Do you really need to feel wanted, needed, to seek approval from strangers? WHO CARES WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK?! Greek life at MSU has taken a very bad turn if it boils down to some internet ratings by "anonymous" reviewers. Very immature. Very pathetic. Be your own person. If you want to join a group - JOIN IT! I guarantee you that you won't speak with most, if not all, of your "brothers" or "sisters" in the future. You will realize what truly matters in life. Top tier, middle tier, and bottom tier cease to exist. Don't believe the hype. You will all become wrinkled and lose your hair. All the good looks won't matter in a few years. Didn't the popularity contest end in middle school?

Right now, my sisters are my best friends, but I guess you never know what life will bring after we graduate.
Seems pretty shallow to read all the talk here.
