too late?

I thought I was going to go to another school but it didn't work out. I am going to be a juniors.
What can I expect coming into rush week
and if you don't go greek, is it easy to make friends?
Also, how much does it cost to register for rush?

Some houses take juniors once in a while but it really wont be worth it to rush as a junior. The bottom 4 or 5 houses like, Pi phi, AoPi, SDT, DG, might take a junior if they really like you. So you already have a small selection of houses to pick from and they would also have to like you and pick you as well. Which means, less of a chance for you to find a house that's the right fit for you. On top of that 99% of your pledge class would be freshman. For most juniors, I don't think they would enjoy hanging out with freshman girls who're still living in dorms.

If you want to rush, go ahead. All of the houses have great girls and while it is true that some houses have overblown egos and will not take a junior, you should definitely go through the process and see what happens. Ignore the tier BS discussed on this site.

Top tier houses are a no go unless you know girls in them. Middle tier houses are a maybe. You'll for sure get a bid from one of the bottom tier. Although it sounds like you are going into a sorority for all the right reasons therefor tiers shouldn't mean anything to you. Your entire pledge class won't consist of only freshman so don't worry about that either. I promise you'll be able to find a sorority you love and feel accepted and welcomed in. Don't let this site get to you. Remember a sorority is for life not just your four years of college, so being a junior is nothing when you put it in that perspective.
