by: #####COB and Spring Rush are the same EXACT thing. They both mean that a house needs girls to fill up the spots so they recruit girls in the spring. Houses that consider themselves on the top will use the term COB so it doesn't look bad - where in reality is the same exact thing. Houses that did spring rush this year were Alpha Phi, Zeta for sure. Not every top house does COB! COB is only done when girls are needed because a) a lot of girls dropped, b) they just need girls. Either way yes, it is the same thing. COB consists of emailing girls. Either way ya need them.

Are you a geed or just a clueless freshman? COB is done by every house to accept girls who the sorority has already approved off and want. It's usually the roommate/hallmate/high school friend of another girl/s already in the sorority who didn't rush in fall but now wants to join after hanging out with and getting to know bunch of girls in that particular sorority. Random girls don't just get to COB like it happens with rush. You can't just pick a house to COB unless you know girls in the house who vouch for you. Hence nothing like rushing.

I'm not saying one can just pick a house when doing COB. You are clearly the clueless one here. As you can read above, I clearly stated that COB is done when a house needs people. Now it doesn't matter if it's the hall mate/friend/sister/cousin, it is still a house that needs to recruit more girls. It is recruitment. I'm not saying it's rushing because it is a different process BUT THE RESULT IS THE SAME. You email girls that you need. You give them a bid. AKA you recruited them. Also no, not every house does COB. The result is the same, sorry

They don't just email girls who haven't rushed in the fall. My friend rushed and still got an email from a sorority (that I won't mention because it will start drama) asking her if she would still be in joining a house. She didn't end up doing it but yah she has already rushed

the reason why top houses get so mad about people talking about COB is because its usually the bottom tier houses who need girls in the spring and are therefore ashamed. But COB and spring rush are two different ways of getting the same thing, hence meaning the same thing

This is not a true statement I know axo and chi o did not have to COB this spring.
