BZ is actually pretty cool. Theres some chill people in it and girls like them. However, they are not a frat, not a part of greek life, and sororities get into trouble for having socials with them AKA they don't have socials. If you are looking to be in a Fraternity with a nationals and be able to put it on a resume/ have connections, I would advise staying away from BZ. If you just want to live in a large house with other men that throw good parties (sometimes), join BZ.

They have a few kids who sell Verve. Before they let them in, Theta Chi was super chill but I don't like these pyramid scheme idiots at all.

Only one question to answer if you're seriously considering Beta Zeta. That is whether or not you want to pay and be hazed to be a part of a glorified friend group.

Beta Zeta isn't a real fraternity plain and simple. They don't have nationals, they are labeled as a book club by MSU and can't have socials. Are some of the guys cool? Sure. But if you want a real greek expirience, don't join BZ.

If you want to be a part of a real fraternity, do NOT rush BZ. They have no national recognition, cannot participate in Greek events, and are not able to have socials with any sororities. The kids in BZ are in violation of IFC regulations by touting themselves as a fraternity when they are not. The guys need to take their punishment and go away so that Theta Chi can return in 4 or 5 years and be a fraternity at MSU again.

A lot of girls really like BZ, and they do have social events still. They're just not affiliated with MSU greek life anymore since they're not Theta Chi anymore. The guys are awesome though and they've been still getting good pledge classes. More power to them!
