They're very new. They only became a chapter two years ago. They do some things with fraternities, but they aren't part of Panhel at MSU yet. My friend from high school is in the chapter at Michigan and loves it.

I never heard of them so they must only do stuff with very low tier frats

I'm also interested in joining phi rho, but have never experienced rush and don't know what to expect. Is it super competitive?

not really sure if this is the best place to find out info about them cause they're not a part of actual greek life and their rush process is different than ours

Do they do anything like the other sororities? Do they participate in activities organized by other sororities/fraternities?

My friend is in it. I am in a sorority at state too, but a panhel one. She doesn't do anything social except with the girls within her sorority. They are a great group of girls and she really likes them, and they do all the other sorority stuff.

They do socials with Frats, phi rho has many frat relations and has socials with many at msu. Also rush is competitive, but less then formal rush at msu, i would say. If your looking to join a soroity and your engineer its prob a good fit its the only soroirty that will be flexible with a tough major, while still having parties, hay rides and all the clasic greek events
