anyone who sticks with the whole process will likely get a bid from one house, there is no exact percentage because people always drop for different reasons.

Do most girls drop by choice or not?

they drop because they dont get invited back to the houses they want and dont give any of the others a chance for the most part

How bad are cuts usually? I've heard of some girls only having two or three houses on the second day. What is of having a full schedule throughout rush?

It is always the individual girl's choice to drop out before the process is over. There are various reasons to drop, but usually it's not getting any of your top choices. Girls drop also because they realize that the time and financial commitment is greater than they thought. It is better to go into rush with an open mind and not have your mind set on just one sorority because your heart could've broken after the first day. Just be yourself and you will end up in the right sorority!

Approximately 100% of all remaining PNMs will receive a bid from AXiD.

AXiD is actually one of my favorite houses and has been from day 1... they are all really nice and i've had good conversations with almost all the girls that I talked to, unlike when I went to phi or chi o and had to force myself to pretend to want to be there because i knew the girls were just judging me from head to toe.

How bad are cuts in the early rounds of rush?

it depends on the type of person you are, and where you would fit in. most people will have a good number of houses but it may be 2-3 on the third day and thats okay! just stay open minded and don't assume everything you hear about a sorority to be true. each one is great in their own way!

It is better to drop out if you honestly do not think u will be happy at what u have left. By the end of 2 or 3 rd set u basically know. It's just good manners to thank your rho and pass on going any further. With the number of girls rushing this year and the number of legacies it's going to be super tough to grab a spot at where u felt u clicked the most.
It's also super hard for them to tell ... if they may have overlooked someone that may have been a better fit than what they picked.
Go. Have fun and if you feel u have to compromise and not be happy - don't be afraid to just say no.

I disagree with comment #9. Houses know what kind of girl would fit in best in their house. So while you may think you want to be in a certain sorority or that you clicked best with certain girls, the current members would know better. I know it's cliche but everyone usually does end up in the house they belong. So keep an open mind and don't be disappointed if you don't get a bid by your favorite house. Every year girls end up in a house they didn't originally want to be in and end up loving their sorority and their greek life experience.

2 things.
Over 1000 girls are rushing. You get a very small time at each house and if u are paired with someone and the other girl talks to much your time is overshadowed. So u may be the better pick but because of the monopoly u could be overlooked. There are just to many variables. We all know this to be true. So the current members do know who would fit in there house but mistakes are made as well and who they pick may " interview well" but not really be a good fit after all

I agree there is a house for everyone. But what if what is left on the bid card for the PNM ...maybe not be a fit for her? She would know where she would feel the most comfortable. If it comes to that .. And if Going with a house that u feel no connection is what you get... u would be better off not taking the bid at all and leave that spot open for someone that it does fit.
