Does being a legacy matter at msu as far as getting bids to top tier sororities and frats?

if you have direct family that were alums you are automatically in at most houses..

I know of two girls whose moms were Alpha Phis at MSU and they were both cut last fall. Being a Phi legacy doesn't help if you aren't pretty enough.
