numbers are expected to be higher for both fraternity and sorority rush, this incoming freshman class is very large, most sororities will take around 45 girls, the major fraternities usually bid around 35, the upper houses should have 25-30 man classes.

On average, what percentage of girls going through rush get bids at the end? Any advice on how to increase chances of a bid?

Almost always, you will get a bid from SOMEWHERE, emphasis on somewhere. Lots of girls end up dropping because they think they are better than lower middle/ bottom houses. Houses like AOPi and SDT take pledge classes of under 10 girls because so many girls do not put them on their bid card. The chances of getting a bid from THE house you want to get one from, are low because really at the end its a numbers game, but if you stay with the process, have an open mind, be positive, then you will get a bid from somewhere.

So it's not that bad? I'm not too concerned with tiers, this isn't high school anymore :) I just want a house where I fit in and will have fun and get to be a part of a great sisterhood.

I'm honestly not too concerned with tiers, not really sure why they seem so important outside of this website. I would really just like to be a part of a house to get more involved on campus and be a part of a great sisterhood. Thank you!!
