bottom to top

by: ...

If any of the new people are scarred about joining a bottom tier house because you think they don't have any fun or that they get made fun of or aren't respected, that's a complete lie. EVERY house on campus has fun, parties and creates memories and bonds to last a lifetime. When going through rush don't focus on trying to make a top tier house, instead focus on actually meeting the people you're talking to. If you end up in a top house, that's great, same with middle and bottom. The only thing that bottom houses don't get is partying with other top houses, that's literally it. There's so much more to greek life than partying too so in retrospect, if you get into a "bottom house" your life isn't over. Because at the end of these four years your going to look back and realize that ranks don't even matter so what was the point of worrying about it at all.

Sorry but nobody wants to join a bottom tier house. Do less.

Are the bottom sororities as bad as everyone says they are on this site? What makes a house bottom tier?

This site goes over and beyond what greek life is all about... in not a good way. This site focuses on looks and popularity and nothing about what a fraternity or sorority actually accomplishes like raising money for their philanthropy, recruiting a said number of new members, starting a new tradition on campus, etc. Bottom tier houses aren't bad in a sense of any of the things that actually matter like campus involvement. Like the first post said, the only thing that bottom tier houses don't really get to do is party with top tier houses, which is not a big deal.
