african americans going greek

I am an African American girl from the suburbs and am going greek this fall. I definitely don't want to do a black sorority so I need a little help. What sororities are more accepting of African Americans (top and middle tier)? And what advice do you have for someone who is African American going through recruitment?

Sororities do not discriminate against race so any house that you like and they like you back you'll get into.

if youre from the suburbs and not ratchet then youll def. get into any house you want. they get extra funding from MSU for having a colored person in the house

it doesn't matter if you're black, white, latino whatever, if you're hot, fun, and classy you'll get into a top or upper middle house

You will get into whatever house fits your personality best. Just be yourself. Girls get dropped because they are fake and actives can't tell who they are let alone if they would fit into a sorority. MSU doesn't give sororities any money at all. We have our own governing body and weren't even recognized by MSU until last semester...
