hi
i am an incoming freshman and my cousin was telling me about the co-ops. what is the difference between greek life and the co-ops? my cousin said co-ops are coed. do ppl in greek life mingle with co-op people? do they go to each others parties or is it pretty separate? Can I join both a sorority and a co-op? thanks

Co-ops are just co-ed houses that people live in and are cooperatively owned. Usually more so alternative people in them. Have lots of house shows and things like that. Greek life and co-ops definitely do not interact and as to the last part, I'm not sure. I think your junior year after you have fulfilled the live in requirement for a sorority you could live in a co-op?
