Joining Frats n Such?

Hello! I'm a transfer student this year and I'm pretty lost on pretty much everything. I want to get into campus life and stuff but I just can't seem to figure it out. How do I go about going to parties and meeting people, and how do I figure out which frat would be right for me? I don't know anyone out here, and I just want to try to live that college life that everyone unsuccessfully tried to warn me about. I'm fairly certain I missed a lot of stuff already during like welcome week, any advice on what to do/where to go?

Fraternity Rush is next week. Go to msu’s ifc page and you should see a list of the fraternities and their information. From there you can look them up on instagram or facebook and see their rush dates. Otherwise, go out to the bars and have fun.

Is there a good place like bars to go for people who are under 21? I'm 19, I'm not (very) interested in drinking, I just want to hang out with people in that kind of setting and meet people in a casual/relaxed environment like at parties. The area I'm from don't stop people under 21 from entering, they only actually card if you're trying to buy.
