what happened to us?

Alum from the 80's: "Greeks loved each other back in my day. We would have 10 on 10s. We would invite the house down the road for a beer omplypics. Everyone was friends with everyone and it was a blast"
Talk about a different view now. Lets be honest. We all hate each other pretty much cause we all wanna be considered "the top house". When did that get to be so important? What happened to showing people why we are better than just saying that we are. We are suppose to be the leaders on campus. I think we are giving what the outsiders what they want. The sterotypical "frat boys" that just sit around,drink beer, and waste away our lives. I'm all for not doing and drinking beer, however I am not wasting away my life. Bring Greek means something to me. It showed me that I can be something one day. That you don't get handed something. It takes hard work to get what you want.
Short Verision:
Stop hating each other and show the campus why we are the entitiled ones.

The internet has no borders. Even if you are skeptical of the post it has a valuable lesson, but then I lost faith in the positive motives of Greek life a while ago. It's basically used as a means to get drunk and laid these days.
