which house to rush?
by: Incoming freshmanI am an incoming freshman and don't know what house I want to rush. I heard Delt sigs is top house on campus but I also heard lambda is too?

Definitely good houses. I don't know about top houses but top 6.
Delt Sigs are more social and rage more. have a range of characters but that's what makes them unique. Mix with everyone.
^rush sigma nu, sig ep, delta chi.
Lambda are generally overachievers (boyfriend house), always top in grades. conservative and mostly white. Pretty social too, mix with everyone. Despite being pretty selective are one of the campuses biggest fraternities.
^ also rush pike, sigma chi, SAE, and Fiji.

I don't know who you got your information from but their are two clear top houses on this campus sig chi and pike. Also in the top tier, but below those two house, are Fiji, Snu and SAE. Delt Sigs and Lambda are both middle tier houses, but there's nothing wrong with that. If I was you I'd choose a house based on where you fit and not necessarily who's top house

If SAE is a top tier house Delta Chi might as well be a top tier house. Lol I mean come on... middle tier based on the ratio of normal guys to weirdos in the house. But I agree nothing wrong with that at all; it's about where you fit in. Great national fraternity though. Both Lambda Chi and Delt Sigs are easily better here at state and are in the top tier. Not hard to tell. Could change though with the housing movements

Take off Delta Chi they are no where near comparable to the other three you listed, also giving Lambda Chi way to much credit, this was their last year in a good house, in a good location where they had little competition, yes they are decent but not that great, also not really that selective.
