pike vs. sig chi

Pike is who they are because they get kids from the Birmingham area who are already friends with the Birmingham girls which join top sororities like Phi/XO. Also, their location makes them a good house. Sigma Chi in my opinion lost everything when they had their membership review, still a good house but nothing like they used to be. I wouldn't call them top 2.

Pike is just a lot of bloomfield and birmingham kids who wanted to all join Greek life, but be in the same house, and not really meet that many new people. they are a great house because of the location and kids from those two towns have money. TBH most kids from the two towns mentioned above do well in Greek life.
Sigma Chi is kinda the same deal, but more out of state kids especially east coast and chicago. They are both two good, but different houses. If you want to rage, lift, and win IM sports like your life depended on it, join pike. If you want more of a preppy, smart, elitist group go sigma chi. Pike does a lot with alpha phi, and sigma chi does a lot with kkg. But at the end of the day if you make it into either of these houses on campus don't expect to name just take you places. Sigma Chi has a great national rep across the country expect it drops on the west coast a little, and Pike varies from school to school.

Guys in pike have always been the way they are now but a lot of the guys in sigma chi used to be weird/different but started dressing preppy and acting fratty. Both are top tier though and everyone knows that.

sigma chi are the guys you marry, pikes are the guys on jersey shore

One thing I noticed about both houses is that the upperclassmen are way better guys than the vast majority of the kids who came in with pc '12 and later.

SAE started pulling guys from both houses

I'm confused as to why SAE or Fiji are even mentioned, clearly this post has nothing to do with the two

From a girls perspective there are a ton of similarities between the guys in both houses. I could see a lot of guys in pike in sigma chi and vice versa. Both top 2 hands down. One night it'll be pike who's the place to be and the next its sig chi. Would love to see them do a 2on2 before the year is over!!
