theta chi cannot host an event, however if another fraternity does (fiji) all the liability is on them. a sorority just can't party with them one on one anymore or the sorority is legally liable. which their nationals don't allow them to be. so yes, that 2 on 2 is completely legal.

I wouldn't go as far to say Fiji isn't popular anymore, they just aren't popular among fraternity men. It's been cool seeing houses interact more the past year or so and 2 on 2s becoming more popular (Pike/Sigma Chi St Pattys last year, SNU/SAE St Pattys, Delt Sigs/Sig Ep tailgates, etc). It's just become apparent that Fiji isn't close with any other fraternity on campus as other fraternities are starting to coexist. And for the record, Fiji attempting to have a 2 on 2 and getting rejected is in fact true. Ask any social chair involved.

Fiji will be fine. Sororities still like them and that's the main thing, plus they have a great national rep. As for the 3 on 3, i actually heard it was an awesome event. I actually was surprised to see Lambda in that mix, they usually keep to themselves and I thought every frat disliked them

^ there's no way Fiji asked Delt Sigs or Sig Ep. And even if they did why would Delt Sig and Sig Ep voluntarily choose to be in a geed infested 3 on 3
