greek life

It's pretty below average compared to southern greek life, but greek life here is on par with most of the other schools in the big ten, excluding IU/Wisco/Michigan who hands down have the best greek life in the big ten. Overall while we don't have as many people in greek life as some other schools, I personally love our greek life here

To be honest, Michigan State greek life is probably bottom 3 in the big 10. I'm in a house and whenever I visit friends at other big 10 schools I'm actually pretty embarrassed (let alone southern schools, but thats a different story). With houses being so spread out and having no support whatsoever from the university, MSU will continue to have a joke of a greek system

Greek Life here is really good. The physical houses could be better and there probably should be more than 5 great fraternities, but I would honestly put our tailgates, ski weekends, and hayrides up against any school's events in the country. I've told a lot of people about hayride and they thought it was the coolest thing they'd ever heard of; not a whole lot of schools have that. I've tailgated at other schools around the country and MSU is way more rowdy. Gotta be in a good house though to have the full experience though.
