fraternity rankings

Since Theta Chi has been kicked off, there has been a lot of discussion over what the rankings are of fraternities on campus. I don't really think it's a one by one ranking with fraternities on this campus, it's much more a tier based system. Right now going into spring rush, I would say the tiers are...

Pike/Sigma Chi
SNU/Fiji/Delt Sigs (Theta Chi would've been right in here too)
SAE/Lambda

After the first 7, no one else really matters but for the sake of ranking them...

Psi U/Sigma Pi/Sig Ep
Phi Psi/Delta Chi/ATO

Phi Delt and Beta could be okay in a few years but are really nothing at all now or in the near future.

I'm glad someone finally said this. I honestly don't see a huge difference between FIJI, SNU, Delt Sig, and the fraternity formally known as Theta Chi. They're all popular, all have similar guys. Not on the level of Pike or Sigma Chi but all are much better than Psi U or Lambda or SAE right now.

Fiji Lambda and SAE are similar houses, Snu and Sig ep are different but on the same level.

The next group down would be Delt sig, psi u, and Delt chi would be on the next level. They have a larger range of characters who are "tryhards" or do their own thing.

It's an interesting take saying fiji, lambda, SAE, Snu and Sig ep are on the same level. I agree with that in some aspects, but i do think delt sigs is overrated.

Sig Ep? Sig Ep has completely fallen off the past few years. I do however agree that the rankings of Fiji, snu, SAE, Delt Sig, and lambda are VERY similar houses and not much seperates them from one another. But psi u is in no way as bad as delta chi.

We have a Phi Psi on campus? Definitely not anywhere near Delta Chi or ATO.

SAE has already moved up in the ranks and is no longer considered part of the new crowd.

Alpha Sig, Beta, and Phi Delt all have potential to move up it's just a matter of finding a solid house and location.

SAE is much better than the other new houses, yes. But they are no where near the level of fraternities that actually have houses.

Pike, Sigma Chi
Snu Fiji Lambda SAE

Delt Sigs, Sig Eps

Delt Sigs and Sig Ep a little lower due to the strange mix brothers in their houses. Also a little more tryhard. All the above do very well with sororities and are well respected.

The other houses actually do ok too minus the extreme bottom.
