holiday cheer!

by: ChristmasTime

How about for a little holiday spirit, we take the time to focus on the positives of our greek system and say something nice about each house? : )

Everyone gives KKG crap and says they are stuck up rich girls but every experience I have had with them as been positive, I'm Happy that Phi Delt is getting their house back and I hope they do well, Sigma Chi did the right thing with the way that they restructured so props to them, and lastly KD made some great moves in the past couple years since I have been at State, I was pleasantly surprised during serenades when I saw their sisterhood.

^I laughed. Not because what you said was funny because you're a sad shallow individual who needs to find morals.

Thanks to whoever made this. I have this to say: Pi Phis always get a bad rap but I know a couple and they're sweet girls. They're always posting about their (real) families on Facebook and I think it's rare to see people who value family that much, so that's cool. The DGs seem like nice people in general and I like their down-to-earth qualities. AOPi runs their house super efficiently. My friend in there said they often get meetings done in like 45 min or less and I'm jealous lol. Oh and they're no Phis but they don't look half as bad as people say. GPhi really knows how to make some pancakes.

This is a nice topic. Honestly, I am happy for houses that are really trying to make moves and improve themselves and our Greek life a MSU. Obviously not EVERY chapter is on the same level but every house on campus contributes. Just because every person isn't model status or loaded doesn't mean that they aren't awesome. We should really value brotherhood, sisterhood, philanthropy, leadership and all of the other things that Greek letter organizations were founded on. Mad props to all of the sororities and fraternities who are improving, it shouldn't be seen as a "threat" or "competition" provoking negative comments... hel l it would be great to see the "top tier" grow. Go Green.
