sophomore rush

Unfortunately I was not able to rush this year, and I am really regretting my decision as I watch all my close friends receive bids. I have pretty much decided that I want to rush next fall when I am a sophomore. Will my class status affect my ability to get a bid? Will I be at a disadvantage?

Nope! I rushed as a sophomore and was still able to get into a house that I love!

not all houses participate for spring rush i'd wait and go through formal recruitment in the fall the get a better idea of all the houses

Rushing as a sophomore is definitely a disadvantage. Very few this year even completed rush, let alone got a bid. If you know of a house you really like try continuous bidding or spring recruitment. OR you could rush Alpha Xi Delta, which seems likes it's going to be a very promising sorority!
