why would someone not recieve a bid?
by: EhWhat constitutes whether someone gets a bid or not? They say it is rare to not, but so many this year didnt. Just curious.

It is rare. Could be gpa or reputation. Occasionally what happens is that someone wants to drop the perceived lower tier houses and is able too and then further into recruitment the perceived top and upper tiers drop them and they are left with nothing. More common is that people don’t want the houses that invite them back so they drop out of recruitment because they didn’t get a bid from the houses they wanted.
