Is anyone planning to pick only one house for pref? I am. I definitely will not join the second house and I don't see any reason to take up their time at the pref party.

Suicideing is a very risky thing to do. If you are 100 percent sure you don’t want the other house then do it. This way you are not taking a spot from another girl who really wants that house. Just be prepared for the consequences. If the house you want gets to quota before your name on the list you are out of luck and Really think you should wait until pref before you make that call. Never know what can happen at pref. Can’t tell if you meant not listing the house on bid card or not showing to party. Not sure but if you are invited to a pref party and don’t show you may be dropped from recruitment all together but I would ask you recruitment guide that question. Don’t know anyone that ever blew off a party. Rude. Not a good look to blow off a party.

Just checked the recruitment guide and it does say if you do not attend a party that you are invited to you will be asked to leave formal recruitment.
