sorority cuts- how deep are they?

Unfortunately cuts are very deep for those sororities with high return rates. Some of the “lower tier” houses don’t cut nearly as many because many of the pnms want to cut them. Try not to take it personally. Houses don’t have a choice. Be happy with the houses on your list and forget about the ones that are not on your list.

There will be many girls that do not have full lists for the second round. If you get 10 that’s great but it is not unheard of for some to have much less. Stay positive and focus on the houses that invited you back they saw something in you. Not to say the other houses didn’t but it is a numbers game at this point.

I thought there are 1000 girls and 14 houses and that they set quota at preference

Quota will be set at preference. The number of girls that attend pref divided by 14 houses. Greek goddess doesn’t know what he/she is talking about. If you make it to pref round and maximize your options you will be in a house. Early yet so try not to stress about it. Focus of your parties tomorrow and go from there. Good luck

Yes is correct. Be careful when asking questions on this site. A lot of people just like to mess with people. Your recruitment guide can answer all your questions. They will be unbiased and honest. They are there to assist you through the process.

I heard that cuts are not deep after round one and that you can take your pick of the houses you have left after round 1

Houses with high return rates will continue to cut more than other houses. Making it through round 1 really doesn’t mean much. Sorry to burst your bubble. Remember pledge classes will be somewhere in the 50’s most likely. If a house cut 50 percent of you after first round there will be a lot more cuts to get to pledge class size. Every round has significant cuts. Don’t get ahead of yourselves. Each day you get your list you may have to reassess. Don’t believe the bs on this site. Just because top tiers didn’t cut you after day one does not mean you will end up top tier.
