did sig ep merge with dke

Hey guys. Former geek alumnus here. So I heard two different stories. Someone told me that Sig EPS got booted from campus and they merged with DKE.
Another version I heard was they didn’t merge but instead made a “trade-off” as it was put by this source. Source said Sig EPs approached DKE and worked out a deal to take their name from them and put it on their house. Since DKE didn’t have a house and low membership the source said they basically called it quits with the Greek system and gave the sig eps guys their letters and are now Dekes.
Can anyone verify this info?

heard the same thing and heard that only person that remains from the original dke is their president while the rest got voted out or bullied out from the sig ep ppl

So their president was originally a Deke. If what you guys are saying is true then that is just terrible. How the hell is he going to let that happen to his friends? That just goes to show you they don’t know the meaning of brotherhood. It’s sad how cliquey houses can be.

Thanks for the update. That sucks for the original Dekes who got voted out but at the same time it doesn’t surprise me. Sounds like they got bought out by a bigger fish.
But how could they vote them out? That’s not very ethical and if that really did happen how did their Internationals let them get away with it?
Doesn’t sound like much has changed. The Greek system at state has always been a mess.
