which sororities take transfers?

by: Transfer

In what scenario would a transfer with no connections get a bid at a Mid or top sorority? I'm pretty normal, always been preppy, groomed, down to earth. My cousin did a sorority out of state and I absolutely adored it so want to give it a try

Yea down south your chance would be much harder, but up here you have more of a chance to get the house you want, just be prepared to tell them why you did not rush as a freshman and why you chose to now. They want girls that will stick with the sorority and not leave it as a junior, so some are hesitant with transfers or older girls. But you should be fine, just be yourself !

Should I be the first to mention I'm a transfer or will they automatically know? I know there's limited time to speak to the girls so I guess I don't want to waste time glazing over stuff you guys already know haha. But yeah no absolutely I definitely would be dedicated to a sorority for the rest of my college years

You’ll be fine. Massively play up your benefits (maturity, knowledge of the system) and play it like you already belong as much as possible. If you let it get to your head and act awkward, you’re done.

Let what get to my head? So I shouldn’t bring up I’d be a transfer/upperclassman at all? Just that I’m mature/already familiar with system/already know I’m dedicated to the philanthropy/routine as is? Hmmm
