some by laws allow them to pledge. I think phi tau is one of them. There might be a few others. do your research.

You're a grad student and really should't be joining a fraternity. The way the relationship is set up with the University is that grad students typically don't join Fraternity & Sorority Life. For example, you could serve as a graduate advisor to a fraternity. That would be weird if you were a pledge of said fraternity. Focus on your studies.
