are sororities really catty?

Are sororities loving and actually there for their "sisters" or is it real catty with TONS of drama??

I wanna say it depends on the sorority and the specific girl! The ideal sorority is loving but unfortunately being in greek life can become more of a status/image rather than making true friends and empowering one another. I know there are sororities that can be catty and have lots of drama and others are true sororities that build all their sisters up with positivity. All depends really.

They are the worst! I've not met any sisters (at least in my house) that actually like each other. It's so fake I hate doing recruitment and lying to the pnms.

I have had the best experience with my sorority. You’re not going to love everyone but you will definitely find those you have a lot in common with and enjoy. My mom is still v good friends w her sorority sisters and we live in a different state from where she went

Depends. I feel like there's some chicks that have to have the room, and some that don't care. Girls that feel they have to have the room are usually the ones promoting cattiness

axo had two girls drop and move out this year just from being harassed so badly by their sisters, so it really just depends on the house. Not all of them are like this, but a lot are and they just keep it hidden- image is everything in greek life.
