living in sororities/fraternities

how many years do sororities/fraternities make you live in the house for???

1 for guys, 2 for girls.

but really, nothing happens to you if you don't. i've never heard of someone getting kicked out for never living in.

having said that, live in, because it's awesome, cheaper, and a hell of a lotta fun.

The above post isn't completely accurate. Every house on campus has different requirements about their live in policy. Some require 0,1, or 2 years. Most "require" 1 year, but it isn't really enforced since a lot people want to live in so the houses become full. Also in frats it definitely isn't forced/required. But it is an amazing opportunity and lots want to live in for 2 years! It is the best time of your life, tons of fun, and super cheap!
