which sororities took juniors?

It is really not common. Not sure if anyone took juniors. It will be very tough and your pledge class would be mainly freshman. Greek life is great but you can have a very full social life at msu without it. If you have extremely strong connections with people at a house maybe but I think chances would be very slim. Sorry but just being honest.

I was in the same positions as you this year. Although I felt that I had a great connection with many of the houses, I ended up getting a bid from my lowest ranked house. Most of the houses will drop you after the first round if you're a junior (this is just what I've found from my own experience and talking to other juniors who rushed).I did not take the bid, and could not be happier as I have joined other clubs and made wonderful friends outside of Greek life. However, I did meet one of my best friends during rush and she didn't join either! So, rushing in itself is a great way to meet people.

In the end, I think you'll find that during the rush process, you'll feel a little out of place anyway because you're older (and probably more mature) than many of the other girls who are right out of high school. But if you think you'll always wonder "what if" if you don't rush, then do it! Hope this helps. :)

If you are a relatively happy, studious and well-adjusted female student there is no need to worry about your chances during sorority recruitment. What you bring to a sorority counts much more than which groups will cut you. Any group might be happy to bid a strong woman such as you, and you should therefore welcome any bid you receive.
