Drop if you aren't going to be comfortable. There's no point in paying the dues or keeping the spot to yourself when someone else could be dying to have it!

It hasn't even been 24 hours. Give it a chance!! You can drop before initiation if you still haven't found your people but give it some time. You will still be able to rerush in the fall if you don't initiate. They chose you give them an opportunity to show you what their house is all about.

Do not drop. Put everything you have into it and you will probably be surprised that you even considered dropping. Find your people and stick with it. If you are still miserable, drop before initiation. The earliest you could rush again would be next fall.

What they said. And yes, they will know if you accepted a bid, no use of even trying

First there is no spring rush. Some may do some informal but no guarantee. If you accepted a bid you can not rush agin for a full year. If you initiate you can never rerush.

Bid day is pretty awkward for the members. If you feel like the girls do not like you, then you need to give it a chance. If you feel like you don't like the girls, then you may want to drop.

If you declined your bid on bid day and regret it, reach out to the rush chair or president of the sorority, Technically your bid is good for one year. Explain to them that you were just overwhelmed and really want to be a part of their sisterhood. They might be able to give you a shot if they haven't filled your spot yet.
