can someone explain continuous open bidding? If girls drop after bid day, how do houses select who to fill the pledge class with? Is is girls that know someone in the house, or rankings from prior parties?

I am not sure who is or isn't doing cob but I would suggest sending an email to the recruitment chair of the chapters mentioned. No harm in asking and that is truly the only way you are going to get accurate information.
