suicide bid
by: helpDoes suicide bidding screw up your chances of getting in a house because the people who put two choices in are chosen first by the computer? I do not want to be in one of the sororities I'm left with and if i get it i wont join. I can't believe i got left with this house that i did not like at all. Im scared that if i suicide bid i wont get the house i want because there wont be any bids left for me.

The houses will have a bid list numbered from 1-?. The computer will match the girls first choice to that bid list. If the house fills before they get to your name you will not get a bid because you didn't maximize your options. It is very risky but you shouldn't take a bid from a girl that loves that house if you have no intention of joining. Think very carefully about this because you don't get a redo and you may regret it.

Yes you will be on their bid list somewhere because you were at the pref party but the question is where you fall on their list. It has nothing to do with listing one or two because it is computerized and some people only had one party to attend. So if your fine with it do it.

A bottom house that i was forced to go to but did not get along with any girl i talked to - and i do not want. i didn't suicide i hope i made the right decision - if the computer puts me in my second choice i wont join it but someone said if i don't put a second choice in it screws up the system - ow well crappy end to a rush system that seems to have major flaws!!

Bottom tear like SDT or bottom tear like DG gamma phi pi phi? You definitely made the right choice. If you get the house you hate, Just tough it out for bid day and then drop after that. It's not a big deal at all, a lot of girls will drop after bid day. I hope it all works out for you!

why if i absolutely don't want house two and will not go there? I know the other house will put me on their list. and if they don't I'm fine with that. i just don't know if girls are picked first who don't suicide
