rush is bad

Recruitment is far from a perfect system but it is what we have. It is stressful and exhausting on both sides. Do great girls get dropped from houses they would fit in? Absolutely. Do girls get invited back to houses they won't fit into? Absolutely. I know it is hard but please try and stay positive and see the process through if you get a bid. Give it some time. It may take a while to find you people but you usually do. If not drop before initiation. Try again next year or maybe it's just not for you. Only about 10% of student body is Greek so it is easy to enjoy your time here as a non Greek. Be true to yourself during your remaining parties. If you have to put on an act to be accepted by a house it is not the house for you. Good luck, relax, and try to enjoy the rest of the process!!

You were dropped from ALL the groups and entirely from recruitment or only the ones you perceived to be the best?

Ya this was a painful process and I don't care what anyone says, being dropped by the all houses you would consider and being left with literally bottom two is devastating. I can't understand it. What people call middle house on here are great. I think it has a lot to do with legacies getting top priority and money and who you know.

MSU needs more sororities and a better system. Not all systems work the same way this one does!
