Is rushing for a sorority completely based on looks? or who you know? I'm interested in if it's all how you look or if personality etc plays into it equally?

All of those play into it especially if you're a legacy but your personality is the biggest part because each house has different types of girls that all have generally the same personality

Sorry calling bs. For some houses looks is the top criteria! Legacies don't mean much for some houses either. For some gpa is really important. Different houses look for different things! It is true that all of those things play into rush but the weight placed on them varies from house to house.

is it was easier to get into being skinny/blonde or do top tier ones ever take thicker girls?

If you're not less than 115 pounds then just dont rush. You're ruining Greek Life. Just bury yourself in the library and try to avoid being seen so we can all save our eyes.
