All that article said was that a house was being built it could very well be for an existing sorority getting that house.

No new sorority has been approved so either the house is for an existing sorority or that was fake news

Phi Mu's official website lists a colony as soon as Fall 2018 here at MSU. It is entirely possible they are the group building a new home, so it will be move-in ready when they re-colonize in 18 months.

No national sorority would build a house without already having a a presence on campus. It's not Phi Mu or any other sorority that isn't currently part of Panhellenic. Don't believe me, please call Phi Mu's national office and ask.

Community Resource Management CRMC the slum lord of East Lansing owns all of those houses on that corner so I'm guessing they will tear them down, build the housing and then enter into a long term lease for student housing with a sorority/fraternity.
