how many sophomores do sororities take during rush

I'm going to rush as a sophomore in the fall, but I was wondering how big is the competition and how likely am I to actually get a bid from a decent sorority. I don't expect to get top tier but I'd like to be in at the very least gphi. Is it based on connections or will I do fine if I go in not knowing anyone in greek life? Does attractiveness/money play a bigger part in rush or is it based on who you know? Thanks in advance!

You'll be fine. If you're aiming for gphi though they have spring recruitment going on right now, this might be a could time to reach out

I'm not sure if I want to limit myself to just that sorority though... you know? Like I feel like formal recruitment can allow me to look at all my options. Also I don't know anyone in greek life so I think spring recruitment would be pointless because they'd take someone they know over me.
