does a crappy roommate determine your social life?

I just found out my roommate was ghetto and I'm nervous because I wanted a roommate who was somewhat like me. Will I not have a social life because of this or will I be able to socialize with other people in the hall with no problem? I'm in brody btw

You might want to wait to meet her and see if you would be able to live with her. She might surprise you. If not, my advice would be to post on your class's msu facebook page and say that you would like to move and see if someone messages you saying that they need a roommate.

My roommate was black too, it's not fun at all. Get out of the situation ASAP or your year will be hell.
