spring rush
by: Sophomore
I rushed this fall not knowing if I wanted to go greek at all. I gave it a shot and met a ton of great girls, however, I like a lot of them dropped. Not because I didn't want a lower tear chapter, simply because I didn't vibe with the girls or get that "at home" feeling at the houses I had left. As bid day passed, I noticed myself being very happy for my friends getting into the houses they wanted but I also am very upset I didn't find my own home. I know with such a large rush, may sororities will not be taking girls in the spring, especially sophomores and I also know rushing next fall as a junior is a slim chance. I just wanted opinions on what I should best do. Im a transfer student, living in apartments, and have meet almost no one. Im very out going and had tons of friends back home so this change has me very lonely and homesick. I noticed there was a lot of negativity on this site and in no way want to bash any houses and am so happy for all you lovely laddies getting your homes! But if anyone has any suggestions on how to meet people seeing that greek life is pretty much closed for me, please, please, please let me know!

Do spring rush! Seriously, even if you didn't vibe with the girls I promise that you will find girls in each house you liked (remember you only talked to 10ish)
Being in a sorority is the BEST way to make friends and no you don't have tons of choices for spring but it's better than nothing
