spring rush and next year
by: It'smeOkay so I was rushing this year but ended up dropping before Values Day because I was just so stressed with school and didn't feel like I had the time to dedicate to recruitment. Will there be a good amount of houses open for recruitment in spring? Or do I have to wait to rush as a sophomore...I am a little upset about that because I heard the chances of getting in a house you really want might be slimmer.

If you rushed this fall you have to wait until next fall to rush again. COB aka Spring Rush is only for girls who haven't rushed that recruitment year. So you'll have to wait until your a sophomore, but unless you want Phi which only took 6 or 7 then I wouldn't worry!!! Every other house took a good amount of sophomores.

I agree. Unless a house that you really loved reaches out to you about COB, just wait until next year.

Actually, as long as you didn't sign a bid card, you can participate in COB and informal recruitment. Since you dropped out before values day, then you'll have no problems. The only way you wouldn't be able to rush for a calander year is if you accepted a bid and then dropped out of your sorority!
