spring rush

I'm a sophomore and considering dropping out of rush so I can take the semester to get my GPA back up to where it should be but I'm nervous not knowing anything about spring rush, can anyone kind of walk me through the spring rush process?? (I got dropped from a house that I'm a legacy at due to GPA-I had a rough academic year last year)

Also, if I drop out of recruitment now, will that affect how houses look at me during spring rush? or my ability to get into a house?

Last year, only AOPi and SDT took girls for spring recruitment. Most houses get quota so they cannot accommodate any more girls.

It stinks.

I would not drop out at this point unless you have decided Greek life isn't for you. There really isn't a spring rush at msu so you would have to wait until fall and chances of getting a bid as a junior are slim to none. Some houses may do some informal rushing in the spring but no guarantees.
